Band-and-Loop Space Maintainer
When a tooth is extracted, it leaves behind a gap that, if left untreated, can lead to potential dental issues, like crowding and overlapping of teeth.

One essential tool for this is the Band-and-Loop space maintainer, a gentle yet effective device designed to safeguard space after tooth extractions, allowing room for new teeth to grow without complications. It consists of a stainless steel band that wraps around a tooth, with a loop that extends in one direction, keeping the gap open for the future tooth.
Nance
The Nance appliance is a versatile dental device. It’s used to reposition or rotate the upper molars, or to hold them in place. This device is frequently used as a space maintainer to prevent the upper molars from slipping forward.
This way, we can prevent potential misalignment and crowding issues.
Lower Lingual Holding Arch (LLHA)
The LLHA appliance consists of 2 metal bands attached to the lower first molars and connected by a wire that runs along the inside surface of the lower teeth.
This space maintainer is specifically designed to keep your child’s lower molars from moving, especially in cases of premature loss of baby teeth.
